With its versatile Grand Auditorium body shape and classic tonewood pairing, the TAYLOR Custom Shop GA-E Grand Auditorium #1211103100 acoustic/electric guitar is all set to perform in a wide range of musical applications.
This amazing guitar is made from premium solid tonewoods that our team selected at Taylor's factory. Torrefied Sitka Spruce for top, Blackheart Sassafras for back/sides, Mahogany neck, Ebony fretboard.
With tone-enhancing V-Class bracing and ES-2 electronics, you're ready for any musical scenario.

Sitka Spruce is the common choice for top wood on most acoustic guitars. Offering combination of strength and elasticity which translates into a broad dynamic range, Sitka Spruce has a punchy direct sound, yielding crisp articulation and allowing for versatile playing, from dynamic strumming, flatpicking or fingerpicking.

Native to Tasmania, Blackheart Sassafras blends low-end warmth and dryness, top-end chime, and strong, focused projection. It merges some of the dry, woody response of Walnut or Mahogany, the note separation and focus of Maple or Myrtle and the top-end overtones of rosewood.
It fits a variety of playing styles in that its tonal personality tends to reflect the player.
