The Kawai MP7 is a professional 88-key stage piano with wooden keys and escapement simulation for a highly realistic playing experience. It features the Harmonic Imaging sound engine, based on 88-key piano sampling.

The powerful audio processor of the MP7 elevates sonic realism to a whole new level with new high-resolution effects. Apply modulated resonances to acoustic piano sounds, warm up electric pianos with analog-style amplifier simulators, and recreate distinct echo environments.
Four independently configurable zones to control internal sounds, external MIDI devices, or both simultaneously. Level attenuators provide control over multi-layered sounds, and the enhanced split functionality allows you to easily split any zone or assign it to a custom range of keys.

J'ai ce clavier depuis un peu plus d'un an, il est plutôt facile à jouer, je le préfère de loin à tout ce que j'ai testé avant, série CLP yamaha compris. la sonorité de piano principal, au casque, est superbe. ayant un peu l'habitude des pianos à queue, l'immersion est saisissante. enfin, ça reste quand même plus agréable de jouer avec un vrai piano à queue, à condition bien sûr qu'il soit parfaitement accordé, sinon c'est l'horreur, vaut mieux le MP7se, donc vaut mieux le MP7se, car la plus grande majorité du temps, un piano acoustique n'est pas parfaitement accordé ... le numérique, c'est tout le temps parfaitement accordé. il mériterait un système amplifié sur mesure, j'y travaille (plusieurs hp en baffle plan), permettant une immersion tout aussi saisissante sans la contrainte physique du casque.

le clavecin n'est pas dégueu, faut le souligner. pour le reste des instruments classique, sont sympas, mais si vous avez besoin d'un solo de violon, adressez vous à un musicien(e) violoniste.

vue la quantité de paramètres modifiable, un écran plus grand aurait été sympa, on s'y perd dans les menus. enfin, je n'y vais que très peu souvent, donc je ne les connais pas bien.

Qualité de fabrication au top, c'est lourd, massif et ça respire le sérieux.
Le toucher est vraiment digne d'un véritable piano, très réaliste, tout comme les sons qui sont de toute dernière génération.
Certes on l'achète pour les sons de piano, mais les sons d'orgues et EP ne sont pas en reste et sont même de très bonne facture. Très inspirant.
Un instrument clairement pensé pour les musiciens et qui permet de nombreuses possibilités de contrôles.

J'ai acheté la version SE, qui est d'un habillage noir laqué , très élégant.
Les fonctionnalisés et possibilités d'affiner les réglages , salit et autres sont très nombreuses et nécessiteront de se pencher un peu sur le manuel s'il s'agit de votre premier Kawai.

Rien à envier aux célèbres claviers teintés de rouge, pour une fraction de leur prix.

Pour ce qui est de la livraison et de l'envoi, tout était parfaitement soigné, conditionné de manière irréprochable et livré en temps et heures.
