Ibanez SML721 RGC Axe Design Lab - rose gold chameleon

The IBANEZ Axe Design Lab SML721 RGC is a multi-scale (25.5 - 25.0") solid body electric guitar, featuring Nyatoh body (substitute for Mahogany), five pieces Walnut/Maple bolt-on neck, 24 fanned frets Ebony fingerboard, active Fishman Fluence Modern pickups and fixed bridge.

Q58 pickups are designed specifically for use in headless guitars. They provide a clearly defined sound, facilitating excellent tonal balance through all frequencies. The lows are powerful without being muddy, and the highs are bright and clear, but never harsh. As a result, every single note within the chord structure is well defined, and clearly audible. These pickups, with their tonal balance, and extremely low noise performance, work extremely well with both digital and analog effects.
Ibanez Dyna-MIX10 switching system doubles sonic possibilities.

The Low-E string has a 25.5" scale which is the same as most of Ibanez guitars, but on the High-E string, the scale length is shorter, 25".
This combination provides a better playability because it allows gentler string tensions over the plain strings, while not sacrificing the tightness of the wound strings.
Also, the nut is vertical to the strings so there is no weird feelings or extreme finger stretching when playing chords on the lower frets.

Fanned frets and multi-scale improves the intonation, ergonomics, and overall playing experience of the guitar, and can handle even the most unique of modern tunings.
