FENDER Custom Shop 1957 Stratocaster Lush Closet Classic (9237001328*R116646) solid body electric guitar sounds sweeter than its spicy cousin, but still packs authentic Fender tonal flavor.
This Alder bodied Roasted Tomatillo Strat is hiding a few special ingredients inside : the trio of Hand-Wound Tomatillo single-coil Stratocaster pickups are crafted using alnico 2 magnets, reproducing what aged, original-era alnico 5 magnets might sound like today. The pickup set includes a RWRP middle pickup to reduce hum, and are tied together with Strat ½-Blender wiring, which lets you blend the neck pickup in to taste when in position one—bridge pickup-only—unlocking sweeter, more flavorful tone.
Crafted from AA birdseye Maple, the neck sports a '59 Esquier C shaped profile that’s comfortable for almost any playing style while the Maple fingerboard sports a 9.5" radius.
