A unique design
With a specially designed low-resonance body and an elegant matte black finish, the Edge Duo features two 6 micron thick capsules coated with gold. It delivers an incredibly smooth, rich and natural rendering that the powerful Antelope Audio modeling engine can modify to recreate the true sound of some of the most wanted and expensive microphones in the history of sound recording.

Multi-dimensional modeling micro
The two capsules of the Edge Duo feed two separate outputs on XLR via the specific cable supplied. The signals of each of them are processed individually and then combined to give the most precise microphone modeling on the market. This approach not only means that the user can vary the directivity even after recording from the dedicated plug-in, but also that the Edge Duo can accurately reproduce the directivity behavior of each model with the answers in and out. of the axis, for true multidimensional modeling.

High compatibility
For maximum fidelity, it is advisable to associate Edge Duo with all Antelope Audio interfaces equipped with microphone preamps and precision converters whose on-board FPGA processor allows the emulation of vintage microphones in real time.
However, Edge Duo also includes emulation of microphones by native plug-in which means that you can use audio interfaces of other brands and change the modeling choices after recording.
