The UDO Audio Super 6 Desktop Blue Special Edition is an advanced binaural polyphonic synthesizer that offers exceptional sound possibilities. Whether you are an experienced musician or a producer looking for new sounds, this analog-hybrid synthesizer will allow you to explore new musical horizons.
The Super 6 Desktop Blue Special Edition is equipped with Superwave technology, which combines a binaural analog signal path with two FPGA-based digital oscillators. Oscillator 1 offers a variety of waveforms such as sine, sawtooth, square, triangle, noise, and wavetable, while oscillator 2 offers the same waveforms plus pulse width modulation. You can synchronize and modulate the oscillators to create unique sound textures.
The Super 6 Desktop Blue Special Edition also features a 24dB analog low-pass filter with resonance, a static high-pass filter, and switchable overdrive to sculpt the sound character. The analog VCA and two ADSR envelopes allow for control over the dynamics and sound envelope of your patches. The versatile LFO offers an extended frequency range and keyboard tracking for frequency modulation sounds.
A flexible modulation matrix opens up new possibilities for sound design by allowing you to connect different parameters together. You can also use the arpeggiator and 64-step sequencer to create complex and synchronized rhythmic patterns via MIDI. Add a touch of space and dimension to your sounds with the built-in delay and chorus effect.
In terms of connectivity, the Super 6 Desktop Blue Special Edition offers a 2x 6.3mm jack stereo output, a 6.3mm stereo headphone output, a 6.3mm audio input, as well as MIDI input/output/thru. Two inputs for sustain and expression pedals are also present for added expressiveness. The sturdy metal casing features built-in folding feet and VESA mounting support, providing stability and installation flexibility.
For users looking to integrate the synthesizer into a studio environment, optional 19" (7U) rack ears are available to easily install it into your existing setup.
