The DR-10SG is a miniaturized recorder, weighing only 100g. It features a built-in shotgun microphone and attaches to any camera with a hot shoe. It will be a great help for beginners, especially for adding quality audio to their DSLR footage. This recorder creates mono recordings in WAV/BWF format, with a sampling rate of 44.1 or 48 kHz, a digital resolution of 16 or 24 bits, or in space-saving MP3 format. It offers manual or automatic recording level adjustment, a limiter, a low-pass filter, and EQ presets designed for various situations. It also features Dual Recording, which simultaneously records a second, lower-level file to avoid recording overload, which results in distortion.

The Slate function and the ability to pass audio to the camera simplify synchronization when editing video files. The DR-10SG has a USB port for data transfer and is powered by a single AAA [LR03] battery.
