Meranti body (substitute for Mahogany), Maple bolt-on neck, 24 frets Ebony fingerboard, Ibanez HSH Quantum pickups (ceramic & AlNiCo magnets), Ibanez Edge-Zero II double locking tremolo.

Meranti is a durable and available tropical hardwood that originates from Southeast Asia. Its physical properties are similar to Mahogany, making an excellent low-cost substitute for it.

Cette Ibanez Jiva Jr est une excellente guitare, bien que c'est un modèle signature Junior, je lui trouve un côté professionnel. Très bonne finition, très belle, très confortable de part sa légèreté, son ergonomie, confort de jeu. Les micros Quantum, c'est une découverte pour moi, ils sont pas mauvais mais pas extraordinaire. Avec un changement contre des seymour duncan ou dimarzio et là elle devient une fusée.

Le problème que j'ai rencontré est au moment de la réception du colis lors du déballage, j'ai constaté que le carton ibanez n'était pas scotché correctement de partout. Ça veut dire que la guitare pouvait se balader en dehors de son carton ibanez durant les transits. Cela m'a littéralement refroidi en voyant sa.

Sinon à part quelques poussière et autre petites imperfections, c'est pour moi un instrument de très bonne qualité
