Focusrite RedNet 1

The RedNet 1 is an analogue conversion interface that connects to your network with a single Ethernet cable.
It is controlled remotely via the network, and can be placed anywhere within your installation.
It offers 8 line-level analogue channels (I/O), with 24-bit AD/DA conversion, and a dynamic range of 119dB at sample rates up to 192kHz.
The rear panel features 2 DB25 connectors (1 in, 1 out) to connect the interface to a patch bay or breakout cable.
The Rednet system is the flagship of "audio-ethernet" technology. Indeed, Focusrite offers a range of interfaces incorporating the Ethernet format, allowing you to transport professional quality audio to the most modern audio applications. These interfaces offer near-zero latency (less than 3ms!), and will allow you, among other things, to extend the number of your inputs/outputs, or even serve as a bridge between ProTools and other systems (MADI, Dante).
