The AKG ARA dual-capsule USB microphone allows podcasters, bloggers, gamers and musicians to capture professional-quality, high-resolution audio. Whether broadcasting or recording, you'll capture audio at up to 24-bit, 96 kHz resolution for superior speech clarity, as well as superb vocal and instrumental tracks. The two SCBA capsules allow you to focus on a single voice or instrument or on a group of sources. Choose the Front (cardioid) directional pattern to record sound from the front without being disturbed by surrounding sounds, or use the Front + Back (omni) pattern to capture sounds all around the microphone, such as several speakers or a group of performers. ARA offers two switchable capsules for maximum versatility. The directional (cardioid) pattern captures sound directly in front of the microphone while rejecting sound from other sides; it's perfect for podcast hosts, bloggers, gamers, video conferencing and instrument recording. The omni mode picks up sound evenly from all sides, making it ideal for capturing interviews with multiple speakers, tracking multiple singers and instruments, or recording ambient sound on location.

Simple to connect, simple to set up, easy to use
Recording with ARA is simple and plug-and-play. Connect it directly to your Mac, Windows PC or game console using a standard USB-C connector, to Android devices using an OTG USB adapter cable, and to iOS devices using an optional Apple camera adapter and powered USB hub. Every function you need is easily accessible, including directionality selection, a mic mute button with LED indicator and a 3.5mm headphone jack for latency-free monitoring.
