Imperium is a digitally controlled passive stereo control console. The circuit is fully balanced from input to output. Since all audio processing is done 100% passively without any type of transistors, operational amplifiers or other regulatory framework, it gives you complete colorless performance with no background noise or margin limitations! Exactly what you need in a professional mixing and mastering environment. With its 8 stereo outputs, a fully extended unit is also very suitable for showrooms or studios with a large number of active speakers.

The 8 reference levels ensure that you can always recall your favourite mix levels quickly and easily, at high, medium and low volumes. Plus, you also get rock-solid stereo imaging with extreme accuracy. Are 8 levels enough? You bet! In fact, we're sure they are. It will make you work differently, more focused and more efficiently than with a conventional volume control. You can find the exact same mix the next day or the next week and be sure it's the same listening experience every time. Again, this is very important during your final mix or mastering, which is rarely completed in a day.

Imperium also has flash memory to store your preferred settings for the device. If so, you can program which inputs have level bypass enabled or which outputs have parallel output enabled by default.
